Celebrate 75 years of the NHS

As the UK celebrates 75 years of the NHS, we're inviting people to share their stories of care at The National Hospital. The hospital, along with the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, make up a world-leading centre for the diagnosis, treatment and care of people with neurological and neuromuscular conditions.

It takes a whole team of people – from consultants and nurses to radiographers and porters – to make patients feel safe and well looked-after. If you or a loved one has been treated at the hospital and you want to say thank you to the staff, we'd love to hear from you. Also, if there was anyone in particular who especially helped you, please do tell us about them!

We will share your messages with the Queen Square clinicians and other team members. And, if you would like to support The National Hospital, please consider making a donation to The National Brain Appeal. All contributions help us carry on our vital work, meaning we can invest in research, training and state-of-the-art facilities to help transform life for the millions of people affected by a neurological condition. The Bollins Family

In 2014 my mum aged 48 suddenly suffered a brain aneurysm that resulted in a stroke. She was transferred to Queen's Square Hospital, and put under the care of The National Brain Appeal. Their care, patience, and help with my mum was outstanding from day one. The support and treatment we received resulted in my mum making a full recovery, and I will never forget the compassion they showed our family during this time and I can't thank you all enough.
